The Murray Polner papers reflect the research of Polner as he wrote Disarmed and Dangerous: The Radical Life and Times of Daniel and Philip Berrigan. Research materials for the book included in this collection were primarily gathered by Polner in 1993-1996 from publications, archives, the Berrigan family, those who knew them, and Polner's collection of materials on the peace and anti-nuclear movements. Reactions to the release of Disarmed and Dangerous are also included.
