Presbyterian theological seminaries--Archival resources--Illinois--Chicago

The Collection on McCormick Theological Seminary is an assembled collection. In the 1990s, Special Collections and Archives staff identified materials in the DePaul University Archives and Lincoln Park Conservation Association records about the seminary. These documents were gathered together with the goal to assist researchers in easily locating these sources. Additional materials purchased in the 2000s by Rev. Edward Udovic, C.M. were integrated into the collection.

The Elizabeth Ware papers contain the research files for Ware’s two publications as well as the exhibition materials from the 1999 exhibit at DePaul University’s John T. Richardson Library. These materials include photocopied primary and secondary sources as well as a few original primary sources. Researchers will also find photographs of the Seminary Townhomes commissioned by Ware in 1993 and her research notes.
