Biographical / Historical

Heath Row was a prolific zinester during the mid-1990's zine heyday. He published a personal zine, Karma Lapel, before moving on to publish the review and criticism zine, Media Diet. Row graduated from Northwestern University where he wrote for Northwestern's N Magazine and hosted a radio show on Northwestern's radio station, WNUR. After moving to Massachusetts in 1996 he started working for Fast Company, an online business magazine. He also began writing reviews for both the zine review zine, Zine World, and for the music magazine, Mommy and I are One. Heath continues his media criticism and other writing on his blog, Media Diet.

The Heath Row zine collection is organized into five series. Series 1, Biographical, is followed by four format-based series (Zines, Magazines, Comics, and Graphic Novels) which are further arranged by topic/content, with individual titles in alphabetical order under topic.
