Scope and Contents

The Correspondence & Memos folders contain letters and notes between Staff Council members and to/from university officers. It may also contain reports, planning documents, handbooks, recommendations and policies involving the University, the Colleges, and staff. The Minutes inutes folders contain the minutes of the Staff Council and related committees, plus all available and pertinent documents discussed during those meetings. If a copy of the minutes does not exist, the agenda, if available, is used in its place.

Biographical / Historical

In 1983, DePaul reviewed its governance structure and established councils to represent various constituents of the University. The Staff Council provides a forum for staff to participate in University governance in an advisory capacity. The Staff Council reports to the Executive Vice President (formerly the Vice President for Business and Finance).
