Biographical / Historical

Batya Goldman is the creator of the Chicago zine U-Direct, and she initiated the first Underground Press Conference in 1994. Goldman was very involved in the zine world and ran her own small press, Mary Kuntz Press, which released zines such as Pseudo Cop, Sunset at Oval Beach, and Wet Male.
