This collection contains correspondence, contracts, early writings, manuscripts, proofs, and much of the journalism of Bill Granger as a Chicago reporter, newspaper columnist, and novelist. It also includes personal documents, photographs, and childhood items.

Scope and Contents The Chicago and Lincoln Park Ephemera collection documents the evolution of the city of Chicago and Lincoln Park nieghborhood, park, and zoo. It includes materials relating to businesses, churches, hospitals, hotels, restaurants, theaters, and transportation. This collection was assembled by a neighborhood resident during her work on various advisory boards and citizen action groups in the Old Town Triangle neighborhood during the 1980s and 1990s. In the course of her work she received and retained Park District reports, correspondence, and files. This collection consists of her personal files from this period. Records include correspondence, newsletters, programs, maps, and many other materials from the 1930s to the 1990s.
