Scope and Contents

This collection includes administrative files, promotional materials, event documentation, photographs, publications, memorabilia, and communications related to the Black Student Union. Included are 2000s reproductions of flyers and communications related to BSU's 1969 general strike effort and takeover of the SAC. Most material post-dates the BSU's 2000 reorganization. Since 2006, the BSU Historian or President has archived the organization's activities during their tenure.

Scope and Contents The files contain administrative, planning, academic, event, and publicity records from DePaul's Office of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning and Ally Student Services. These items document the Center's aim to provide awareness and resources for LGBTQ students. Syllabi, publicity, and other materials related to DePaul's LGBTQ academic program, which was the first of its kind in a Catholic institution, are also included. Scope and Contents The Student Affairs collection is a sprawling record group containing documentation from university offices devoted to student life, activities, and issues, as well as materials from specific student organizations. The Student Government Association records contain administrative materials, correspondence and memoranda, meeting minutes, reports, student surveys, financial documents, election materials, initiatives, proposals, analog and digital photographs, and other materials documenting SGA's various advocacy efforts on campus. The records also document SGA's involvement in state-level issues, as well as their own internal administration.
